This post is a love letter to my friends. Each one of the precious friends in my life splashes a different vibrant hue onto the canvas of my life. I would not ever diminish any of the friends in my life because each one enriches my life in numerous ways, but I specifically want to celebrate my creative friends in this post. Friends that share my art-focused outlook on life really help stimulate my own creativity. Their innovative ideas, unique perspectives, and artistic talents often spark our imagination, pushing us to think outside the box and explore new horizons. I specifically want to call out two special friends; Photographer Angela Garzon and Fine Artist Stefanie Bales. These two comprehend the highs and lows of the creative process and the arts community, offering encouragement during challenging times and we can always celebrate each others artistic achievements. Having these two as friends is like having a dynamic duo of creativity in my social circle and both infuse imagination and originality into everything they touch. Together we always strive to transform mundane elements into captivating works of art. We had the chance once again to come together again and create imagery that celebrates our unique trio of creative minds. Stefanie’s mural transformation of the sweeet shop at Belmont Park has been nominated for an Orchid award from the San Diego Architectural Foundation, so we decided to capture it brilliance together to commemorate the moment; and Stefanie even got in some of the photos captured wonderfully by Angela. I love how these turned out, and I want to thank Stefanie and Angela for being colors that make my life vibrant and snapshots that make it memorable. Here’s to many more chapters of our extraordinary friendship, filled with endless adventures and artistic endeavors.
