Been ill for a few days so haven’t posted, but I’m back to share a piece of art newly installed at The San Diego Museum of Art on the recently redone American galleries. I’ve always been a fan of horses so when I heard we were installing a couple pieces by American sculptor Deborah Butterfield I was stoked. Her found material sculptures of horses are so organic and industrial at he same time. I love this dichotomy. I took the chance at one of our donor events to get a few pics of me snapped with one of the found metal horses coated in melted aluminum. My friend Bronson of Bauman Photographers is used to my cooky photo requests. Please to enjoy…
Although it makes me oh so aware of those last few pregnancy pounds, I still really like these photos. Dress is courtesy of Alexander Wang Fall 2015! I should have done my hair like hers. HA!
